Which is the difference between orange cats and ginger cats?

As I am Argentine,I speak Spanish,so I would like to know about the difference between those two colours of cats´furs(ginger %26amp; orange).

Which is the difference between orange cats and ginger cats?
I think that the British refer to them as ginger cats and in the US we say they are orange.

I do make a distinction as to me a ginger cat is the color of the root ginger with use with our food - it's a pale color. The orange cat to me is one that is more the color of the fruit - orange.
Reply:They are the same Cat just known by Different names.
Reply:One's been tango'd the other hasn't lol
Reply:It's the same.

In the UK we call them Ginger, in the cat showing world they're called Red, I think the Americans call them Orange or Red.
Reply:The most right answer someone could post on here would be that there is no such thing as an orange cat. Orange means ginger and is the most comon word used when describing the colour of fur or hair.
Reply:Ginger and orange are both the same color. The proper term is red tabby. =)
Reply:Hi

No Difference, just another way of saying the same
