How do I decorate around orange tile in a bathroom?

The tile counter in the bathroom is orange and the floor is beige. The tile is in good shape, however, I haven't the money to rip it out and replace it. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe...yellows and greens....I'm lost. Please help!

always do neutrals that way your safe and it matches and easy to match. creams tans ivorys white they work good and are easy to decorate with, they make these peel and stick tiles that are decorative ebay, craft stores and even target carries them now you peel and stick right over the tile get a couple , the dollar tree also has some and it makes the total difference in that bathroom.,
Reply:orange is a pretty bold color. If you add too many colors to it, it could start looking too busy and even make the room look smaller and closed up. I suggest finding a dark wood and restaining your wood in the bathroom. it will calm down the orange tile and make your bathroom look more elegant. instead of spending the money to paint and add other stuff, consider some cabinets, or a mirror. check these out.... could be worth it in the long run. http://www.buyvanitiesonline.com/?utm_so...
Reply:I think with all that orange I would want to tone it down with a soft sandy beige color on the walls and white accents, like rugs, towels, etc. Or find a shower curtain you love with a bit of orange in it and choose another color in the curtain to paint. i think yellows or greens would be too much on the eye unless they are very soft shades.
Reply:Sounds odd, but I've seen a lot of textiles with soft blue and orange in them and it looks pretty good. Whenever I'm stuck for color choices, I look for textiles that have one of the colors I'm trying to match, and then just pick one of the other colors in the fabric.
Reply:Yellows and greens would look good. So would darker shades of beige and , believe it or not, plum (dark purple) :)
Reply:have you considered painting the tile? there are several sites out there that give good details on how to paint tile.
