whenever i go out for chinese food i always get muscles but ive noticed there are white ones and orange ones. what is the difference between them?
What is the difference between the orange muscles and the white ones?
I used to gather them off the shallow shore lines along the small islands of the great south bay along fire island and use them for chum to catch flounders. When you steam or cook them they turn orange as for the white color, I would say uncooked.
Reply:too many carrots? You know how that beta carotene can be. Or maybe you're color blind and it's jaundice.
