What color tux would match an orange dress?

My senior prom is in June and i'm going with my boyfriend, he doesn't really want to wear a white tux, and black and orange may look a little like Halloween. Please help thank you!

Black wouldn't look too halloween. An orange dress would look really nice with a black tux. He shouldn't wear any orange on his suit though. Maybe an orange flower on his jacket would look good. Make sure he wears black accessories! Have fun at prom:)
Reply:He should wear a classic black tux. It matches anything. Remember, black cummerbund, black bow tie, white shirt. There will be enough white to prevent the Halloween look, and you'll both look smashing.





If you want more matching, have him wear an orange pocket square or orange boutonnière. It'll match, but there won't be so much orange that you'll get the Halloween look.

i agree it would look like halloween if he wore black.. and the only other 'normal' looking colors are like brown/gray and i dont think thatd look goodd..





go with him to try some on.. maybe once he see's how a white tux acutally loooks on him he'll like it =]





or you know just tell him to wear this

Reply:He should wear black with black accessories. Orange should never be seen in a tux. Maybe a white dinner jacket would coordinate better with your dress.
Reply:A friend of mine's daughter had an orange prom dress and her boyfriend wore a black tux with black vest etc... It looked GREAT!!!
Reply:black tux, white satin vest underneath, and orange flower/folded thing (ya know that thing that goes in the pocket). Perfect but not too haloween!
