What should I do with Blood Orange Oil?

I had recently purchased some blood orange oil and I'm not really sure what to do with it. Any suggestions? I was thinking of using it with some salmon and lemon pepper.

Reply:Wow, talk about an exotic ingredient. Let's see I think I would use it in the following ways:

-Add a few drops to a citrus based cocktail or even just seltzer water

-I think your idea of using it in a salmon based entree sounds great

-You could use it in a potpurri aromatic mix...add the oil, lemon slices %26amp; orange slices into a pot of simmering water. It will release a nice fragrance into your home.

-I would use it in a marinade for grilled lamb chops or (split %26amp; grilled) cornish game hens. Add the Blood Orange oil, fresh chopped garlic, sea salt, fresh cracked pepper and olive oil together as a marinade.
Reply:The blood orange was essential to making real Duck ala Orange. You could use it with fowl also. I could make a very interesting addition to a vinaigrette also but only a few drops.

It would make a nice salsa for pork.
