I am having orange peel issues in the parts I'm making. I use a 50/50 ratio of calcium carbonite/resin applied with a chop gun. The catalyst ratio is between 1 and 1.5
I've always thought that it is mainly dependent on resin/chop ratio, but am getting it on pretty much every part whether wet or dry.
What causes orange peel in fiberglass parts and how do eliminate it?
Is your mold slick ? What are you using for a release agent ?
