What are the names of small orange, red or pink gouramis?

My neighbor has what I beleive to be some sort of awarf Gourami, but she doesn't think so because she says that the only kinds of dwarfies she's heard of/had were always blue. He's about 2.5 inches long to 3 inches and is about a year old. I can't see the specific color because she lets the algae grow on her aquarium for her shrimps and Pleco, nut it looks to be orange, red or pink. I am not super familiar with gouramis, but I do know they have kind of a pointy oval body shape and little feelers on the bottom and stripes. What kind of Gourami could it be?

Here's a link with photos and descriptions of some gouramis and dwarf gouramis:

Dwarf gouramis generally stay about 2 inches, and regular gouramis(aside from giant and kissing gouramis) about 4-6 inches.

Sounds like it might be a paradise fish what you're describing.
Reply:dwarf gouramis - colisa lalia - have orange and blue stripes in the wild.

solid blue or red dwarf gouramis are special breeds.
