I just bought a orange skirt with yellow flowers on it (emboirderd) and a white plain blouse. I realized I dont have any shoes to go with it! What type of shoes, and what color should they be? I have tan flipflops with sliver that goes on top of your foot, and a toe seperator will that match?
What type of shoes can I wear with an orange skirt and a white blouse?
flip flops in a neutral.... prolly not black, but tie in browns, or cute strappy heels. Kitten are cute and can come in a variety of colors. Brown is a best bet, as well, as tans. If you can find yellow shoes, do that. Red is an option, it can give a pop of color. I would say more in a gold range, because orange is such a warm color.
Reply:white flip flops would look great.
good luck
=]
Reply:ballet flats
Reply:earth tone- black or brown
Reply:white or tan flipflops
Reply:pale pale beige.
Reply:You could try and get a pair to match the colour of the skirt or the yellow flowers. Flat and plain would probably go best, if you did that you could go for something around your neck in the matching colour too this would make quite a smart outfit.
Reply:with your outfit i would say to go with espadrilles.
there the new shoes with a woven wedge.....and it would look nice
Reply:Cool crafty idea--- get a couple of silk flowers in yellow or orange or white even, take out the stem and use fishing line, run it through the center of the flower which should have a hole where the stem used to be and wrap it around your flip flop by the seperator. Tie and secure in a knot, repeat to the other. Now you have practically new shoes that you change with different colored outfits. And the best part is that all you spent was probably $3 rather than buying a new pair that would only go with that one outfit.
Reply:wedges would look awesome
here are pic

http://www.aeropostale.com/family/index.... ~~~THE CROSS WEDGES 3RD TO LAST ON THE PAGE~~~(i like these they have the toe thing you want)
Reply:Wedges in a neutral color or tan. Banana Republic has some cute ones that would work perfectly.
Reply:No never ever wear those flip flops that'll ruin the whole outfit.. instead get plain green flip flops from old navy.. it wont look to clashy..
simplicity does the trick :)
Reply:No i do not think that would really match. Yellow might depending on how visible the designs are. If not that then maybe a yellow or orange belt. In this case white shoes would look good. Hope this helps alittle!
Reply:I would wear white or light tan sandals.
Reply:Go get some orange or white flip flops or maybe you can get some with orange and white mixed together on them!

How do you plant an orange tree directly from the seeds of an orange? How do you prepare the seeds?
I have a handful of orange and tangerine seeds. I would like to show my daughters the process of a growing fruit tree. What do I need to do to the seeds to prepare them for planting? We live in Louisiana, what weather conditions should a citrus tree be left in? How long should it take to grow and fruit? Thank you for any help given!!
How do you plant an orange tree directly from the seeds of an orange? How do you prepare the seeds?
First, take about 5 or 6 paper towels and lay them on top of each other. Put the seeds in them, dampen the towels, and roll the seeds up in them.
Keep the paper towels moist, but not overly wet. The seeds should germinate in maybe a week or so, then pot them up in some potting soil. Once germinated, keep soil moist and put in a lot of sun (or under bright lamps).
As for growing and bearing the fruit, unfortunately you may not have much luck with that. Most citrus trees that bear fruit today come from grafts, so that the top of the tree that bears the fruit is placed onto the root-stock of another variety. Second generation seeds will grow a plant, but don't usually bear fruit. But thats about few years off anyways.
Good Luck.
Reply:Many, many years off. As already stated, the fruiting citrus trees here are grafted -for good reason.

Where can you get an ORANGE bean bag chair?
The main two colors in my room are pink and orange. I went to Walmart to find two orange and pink bean bag chairs but only found a pink one because Walmart only carries pink, blue and yellow bean bag chairs. So I bought the pink one in hopes that I would find an orange one later. Can someone help me find a major store that sells an ORANGE one? Well, a mix of orange and pink will work too. Also does Target sell them?
Where can you get an ORANGE bean bag chair?
Why not buy some orange fabric you like, and COVER the beanbag chair? Also, you can then take the cover off to wash it...
If it already has a removable cover, you can use that as a pattern. Most of your local fabric stores have helpful people who are also very knowledgable, and they may be able to help you. Good luck!

How do I charge my Ipod Shuffle, does the blinking orange light mean it's charging?
Just bought it. Plugged it in. The light is blinking orange. Does that mean that it's charging or do I need to see a solid orange light?
How do I charge my Ipod Shuffle, does the blinking orange light mean it's charging?
Yes that means it's charging.
Didn't you at least browse through the mini leaflet, it tells you all about the battery indicator.
Green- Fully Charged
Orange- Partly (Flashing = charging)
Red- Nearly dead.
I think.

What is a nice foundation that's cheap but not orange or too dark?
I've pale skin and so far every foundation i've used has looked orange or too dark and i can't afford the expensive brands like bare minerals i found revlon and no7 too dark and rimmel and loreal are too orange.
What is a nice foundation that's cheap but not orange or too dark?
The perfect foundation is mark.'s Face Xpert - Flawless Touch Makeup. It is a lightweight, professional-coverage formula. It comes in 8 shades with Ivory being the lightest.
And at only $8, I'd much rather use that than some high end brand.
Reply:Hey, try the E.L.F foundations, they blend in really well and they're not dark, they give an effect as though your not wearing foundation but just have really flawless healthy skin. The foundation can be used on troubled areas and under eyes, its not really great for all over face but its really good for most parts of the face. It comes in natural colour which blend in perfectly to your skin tone. you can pick a shade and its only $1 or if your from england £1.50!
Its great value and gives you a great look,
if your not familiar with the E.L.F brand go to
www.eyeslipsface.com or just type in E.L.F cosmetics into google!
Its really good value and a must have for anyones beauty case!
Hope this helped and good luck!
Reply:well i say nutrogena and when you are finding your shade test it out first and maybe go one shade darker than you are if you want to look tanner. by the way, the middle shades of most foundations tend to be orangy in every brand so be careful
Reply:Avon do a nice one Age-transforming foundation in Nude which is a lovely colour and great for pale skin. I think they do a lighter one which is Ivory. It has good coverage.
Reply:Dream Matte Mouse foundation is good and theres like ivory for pale skin and loads of other colours as well. :)

What's the best way to store opened frozen orange juice concentrate?
I bought a can of orange juice concentrate, but i wont be using the whole can in my recipe. Is it unhealthy to defrost and refreeze the concentrate? Any advice on how to store it? either in the fridge or the freezer?
What's the best way to store opened frozen orange juice concentrate?
Leave the frozen orange juice concentrate in the container and place in a zip lock bag and return to the freezer. If you do this it will not get freezer burn and can be stored for a very long time.
Reply:You can re-freeze it, no harm will be done.
Reply:Keep it frozen until u make it.
Reply:Pour the unused opened orange juice in an ice cube tray %26amp; freeze.

Why is there a difference of color between homemade and store bought orange juice?
I noticed store bought orange juice is 'thicker' looking and sometimes almost a 'milky orange' color while homemade is not. Maybe the pasteurization?
Why is there a difference of color between homemade and store bought orange juice?
store bought orange juice usually uses carotene (totally safe and organic) to give the juice the pretty orange color. homemade fresh squeezed oj doesn't have that. just be sure when you are squeezing your own juice to drink what you squeeze the same day. if it's not pasteurized you could get sick if it lays around
Reply:It could be that there are additives in the store bought one, read the carton. It could be the type of orange used to make it as well.
Reply:The homemade one is made from oranges.
Reply:There generally are 4 types of store bought oj: no pulp, a little pulp, lots of pulp. All from real oranges. The 4th is oj from concentrate. (yuk) The best, of course is home made from valencia oranges: more juice, thin skin. The choice is yours. Compare the different brands in the stores, read the labels closely. Then maybe you can figure out color and substance. Enjoy!

Is there any home remedies to get these weird orange or rust stains out of clothes?
These stains are like a weird orange and brownish color and every time I put in a certain sweatshirt it gets more and more of these stains but none of my other clothes to also the washer and dryer are brand new. So if you know anything to get them out that I can do at home please help me.
Is there any home remedies to get these weird orange or rust stains out of clothes?
I lived on the Outer Banks and we had trouble with rust in the well water at a certain depth. The only way to combat it was to get a water conditioner (like Culligan). I never could get out the stains that happened in the first month we lived there.
Reply:Try a mixture of baking soda and water. Let it soak for a while. Or you could try soaking it in some Oxiclean.
Reply:I live on a well and use iron-out. Follow the instructions and use routinely. Good luck!
Reply:if the clothes are colored, then you will have to dye them or forget it. or just use peroxide or bleach for whites.
Reply:If the clothes are dark...the wierd orange and brownish stains are from contact with bleach at some point and the other person is right you'll have to dye them . And if you are using regular bleach with darks, you need a Color Safe Bleach....I had this happen when I spilled a few drops of bleach on top of our washer, didn't realize it and a pair of dark pants came in contact with the bleach when I put them in with the other clothes....you might have done the same thing.
Reply:lemon juice and salt then lay out in hot sun, wash may have to repeat
Reply:Biz might work if the sweatshirt is colored. If white, try making a paste of cream of tarter and gently rub it in and let sit. I would also wash the sweatshirt in only cold water.

It was bleached, my roots grew out, I want to go back brown, but got it too dark. How do I lighten it without it turning orange?
How do I lighten my hair without it turning orange?
Oh, I thought this was a blonde question.. I was going to tell you about my experience, when I was trying to go back, to my strawberry-blonde, hair.. I went and got a lower #, of NiceNeasy...It turned my hair "Green" only in some spots! And I had to work the first check-stand, the next day, right behind my boss %26amp; supervisors, booth.. They teased me all day, about my green streaks.. My suggestion to you, to make sure, it doesn't would be to buy two bottles.. And do one, in the morning, and see how that turned out, then, if it doesn't look quite "Right", then, do the other bottle the same night.. That should work, for you!! I used two bottles, to start the first time, I ever dyed my hair.. And it worked really good!! Instant difference!!
Reply:i would derfently go to a salon for anything that will lighten hair. its best to talk to someone who really knows what they are doing when thinking about using bleaches. you dont want to look orange or fry your hair and have that cotton ball look. goodluck
Reply:I wouldn't take a chance of anything happening, so it might be best for it to be done by a professional. If you have a Sally Beauty Supply store by you, sometimes they can help you out and let you know how to lighten it without any disasters.
Reply:i have heard it turns orange because the color was unable to lighten it enough to be blonde. bleach is the only thing that will lighten dark hair enough to be blonde

Does anyone have a recipe for Carrot and Orange soup?
I used to get homemade carrot and orange soup from a canteen. It was kinda spicy and gorgeous! Ive seen some recipes that use actual orange juice, others the rind and juice of an orange. Whats better? Also, chicken or veg stock?
Does anyone have a recipe for Carrot and Orange soup?
I would use veg stock made with fennel and carrots for the most part, or just use oj.
On low heat, sweat your slice carrots in a little bit of oil, add ginger and a pinch of red chili flakes, deglaze with some white wine and add your stock or oj. If using veg stock, you'll need to add oj concentrate or a couple split oranges.
Careful of the pithe, it'll make it bitter.
Season with S%26amp;P, simmer until carrots are soft then puree in blender. Low moving to high.
There should be enough carrot to act as the thinckening agent in the soup.

How many carrots does it take to turn you orange?
I've heard that if you eat a lot of carrots your skin can turn orange. Does anyone know if this has been proven and if so how many carrots you would need to eat?
How many carrots does it take to turn you orange?

Reply:Acutally it is a healthy glow just eat some carrots every day.
A few years ago we had a Guina Pig and when ever I would feed the carrot to her I would eat some too really this went on for months and My hands and face had that glow. Keep meaning to do it again.
Reply:I've heard this too!! Don't know - but I've never seen an orange rabbit!! Something to do with ceratin I thinks
Reply:"Yes" eating a lot of carrots can turn you orange but you would have to eat a lot of them compared to a baby which is when this carrot thing is most obvious. Mass makes the difference. The bigger you are, the more you would have to eat so while in theory an adolescent or adult could eat enough, in practice it would be one heck of a lot of carrots! It's more an orange-ISH than a bright orange. With our daughter, it was only her nose that would get kind of orange-ish if she'd eaten a lot of carrot baby food that week. She never got orange all over, but I have heard stories about people that have.
Reply:My Aunt went on a mad carrot eating diet. She used to eat a pound of carrots a day and I think it was after about 3 months her skin started to turn a tinge of orange all over. Something to do with the Carotene in it. She looked really weird!!!
Reply:when my 11year old daughter was a baby she loved sweet potatoes and i mean loved so i gave it to her every day her cheekys turned orange in no time lol
Reply:it does turn ur skin a bit orange cos of the beta carotene, but u have to eat loads. once, on panorama, i saw a girl who drank loads of sunny d which contains beta carotene as a colouring and she went REALLY orange, and her family ended up suing the company.
Reply:The reason behind the color is carotene which gives the color to carrots by photosynthesis. I believe when your skin turns this color it is called carotenodermia. From what I heard in a Biology class this could be bad because it is too much Vitamin A from what I remembered. Thank you for your time.

This can also be made with the juice of freshly squeezed blood oranges or mandarins. Many supermarkets now sell these juices freshly squeezed making it an easy pudding to prepare. It is set with cornflour and is not as firm as a jelly set with gelatine.
Ingredients
1 litre/1¾ pints orange or mandarin juice, freshly squeezed
125g/4½oz sugar
70g/2½oz cornflour
3 large oranges, peeled, all white pith removed
seeds of 1 pomegranate
250g/9oz double cream, whipped
Method
1. Bring the orange or mandarin juice to the boil with the sugar.
2. Dissolve the cornflour in 250ml/9fl oz of water and pour it into the simmering juice, stirring vigorously. Continue to stir - in one direction only - until the mixture thickens, then cook over a low heat for about 15 minutes.
3. Cut each orange into thick slices and each slice into four pieces. Remove the pips.
4. Let the orange or mandarin mixture cool and pour into a glass serving bowl. Stir in the pieces of orange, cover with clingfilm and chill in the fridge for a few hours.
5. Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds over the pudding and serve with whipped cream.

I've heard good things about Kean and Javatinis. They both roast their own and are supposed to make really good lattes. Can anybody comment on their experiences or perhaps suggest another place. Good espresso is so hard to find, especially in Orange County.
Thanks.

Approximately how long does it take for an orange tree to grow fruit if it was bought at a nursery?
If an orange tree is strong but it still needs a support pole (no clue how old it is), how long will it be until it produces fruit? Like, years or months or what?
Approximately how long does it take for an orange tree to grow fruit if it was bought at a nursery?
It takes 3-5 years for a newly planted orange tree to bare fruit. Water it and fertilize it on a regular basis and then be patient.
Reply:10 years probably. I would even say more like 30 to 50 years for it to produce a a good orange like you can buy in the store.

would rewashing help? the clothes have orange stains what detergent is the best for this?
My child left a orange crayon in their pocket and their clothes came out orange in the washer what can help?
I am sorry to tell you almost every person who has children has experienced this happening. The bad news is the stains do not come out completely. You could soak the things in the hottest water the clothes will withstand in Oxyclean. This will remove most of the stains.
Reply:first off did you dry them, if you did you set the stains in
some times all you have to do is rewash them. when that happens i would rewash with Wisk, in heavy duty cycle, which on my machine is it soaks for 30 minutes and then 15 more, has a power rinse. air dry, you may have to wash several times, also use a powder bleach such as purex or clorax 2
hope this does help
Reply:Rewash with Tide. Hot water this time. What kind of mother wouldn't check a child's pockets before washing their clothes? Your whites must be so dingy.
Reply:Okay, this is not meant to be rude...I am really serious. What would help the most is if you checked all pockets when you are sorting the laundry.
We had to learn this the hard way too. As far as I know, there is not much that can be done now that it has happened this way, although I will be checking back to see what other people say, as I may discover something I don't already know about.
Anyway, checking pockets is the best way to go. It helps prevent these problems. Also, when I was a kid, my mom got me in the habit of emptying my pockets before I removed my clothes. It is a great habit to be in. So use it for yourself and try to teach it to your children...it saves a lot of problems in the laundry later...
Meanwhile, be sure you get it all cleaned out of the washer and dryer so that you don't get it all over more stuff!
Good luck!

What is the cleanest way to feed an orange to a two year old?
I should have asked this before giving him a slice.
Without suggesting orange juice (though fresh squeezed sounds like a good possibility) does anyone have any suggestions. My son likes the taste but he also likes the feel of it all over his face and arms (and legs and belly).
Are there any benefits to bathing in citrus? LOL!
What is the cleanest way to feed an orange to a two year old?
I think two is a little young for a slice because they do love to explore their food. LOL You could just dice it up (what a chore, though) or get those little mandarins that are canned or jarred. Kids love them and for the most part, no mess..
Reply:slice it
Reply:peel it, cut the slices into fours and have him eat it with a baby spoon or fork i now what you mean about being clean my 2 year old eats it all messy too. lol
Reply:In a juice glass w/ a straw. lol
Reply:just let him have fun you'll be thank full when he gets older and doesn't have any problem trying new foods....i always let me kids make a mess when they were that small and now that they are 5 and 3 we use silverware and there is no mess and they will try and eat just about anything.....no picky eaters....
Reply:i will give you a hint. it involves a plunger, a shovel, and ducktape.
Reply:It won't hurt him-but whoever thinks there is a way to keep a 2 year old clean during ANYTHING let alone feeding ! That's just crazy! Let him have fun-at least he will be focused on eating-getting a 2 yr old to eat is a challenge anyway!
Reply:Mandarine oranges are great for this, also try tangerines. As for regular oranges: instead of cutting it in wedges maybe try peeling it and separating the sections; that's how I do it anyway - though it is still a mess it is a healthy one at least!
Reply:the kid is two. he's gonna get it all over the place. and anyone who says he might get hurt, is raising a wussy kid.
Reply:my son LOVES mandarin orange slices. They're perfect size for him!
Reply:I always heard that a youngster should not eat oranges because of the white stringy coating around the orange. They could choke. I would separate the sections and just give him half of one at a time.
Reply:have you tried mandarin oranges? they come in a can and are already sliced and are smaller than normal orange wedges, so there's less mess! i even prefer them myself, there's no lil white "stringies" either
Reply:Well if you ask me i would peel the orange , then i would make into a slither like how the come those little wedges and then i would cut those in about 4 pieces it would be pretty easy to clean up because they are so small but i worn you you may need a clean rag beside you lol. BRITNEy
Reply:Try mashing it in yoghurt. Then let him feed himself!!
Reply:Whatever you do, make sure you cut the segments into very small (two year old) bite size pieces. I had one of my scariest mom moments when my son was a toddler and choked on an orange segment. He coughed it up and was fine, but it scared the h*** out of me! Other than that, now that my son is 23, I can tell you not to fret about him making a mess, you will miss those days years from now, trust me! A really good idea might be to give him those small orange bites while in the tub, or just before bath time.
Reply:They have little hand held deals that have a strainer sort of thing. You unscrew it and put the fruit in and they can chew it , and suck the juice out.
Bathing in citris? Probably so. At the least you will smell yummy.
I came back to read that your child is two. oops..
Reply:citrus is good for oily skin lol.. but um.. u should vut it up in small bits.... then there is less to make a mess with.. if u make them mouth size.... then he can't go too far wrong... but kids love making a mess.... so if it doesnt bother u toooo much then jst let him get on with it.. he will soon learn it is sore if he puts it in his eye lol.

What kinda jewellery should go with a orange dress with silver work on it?
The base of the dress is orange and has a heavy Silver work on its blouse and the belt of the skirt.
I was wondering to get a different look. So any one of you can suggest something with which i look a bit different. I mean should i go for more orange or more silver in the jewellery. And somebody also suggested Ruby wud look good with orange-silver combination. What do u guys say?
What kinda jewellery should go with a orange dress with silver work on it?
Well, I work in tailoring and fashion design in Aspen, CO.
So, my answer largely depends on the specific shade of orange you're referring to. A red-orange, ruby would pick up some of the red tones in the fabric, and work well.
Blue is the opposite of orange, so something in sapphire or topaz, perhaps even aquamarine would work well. Emeralds/other green stones, too.
Pretty much, the jewellery you wear is supposed to complement the garments as well as provide a little 'pop' or contrast. I'd primarily focus on silver metals, but in the color of the stones/enamel, etc. is where the choice ultimately resides with you, and I'd trust your own fashion judgement. If you think it looks good, go with it.
Good luck.
Reply:If the dress has a lot of silver work on it, you might want to skip jewelry altogether. Too much of a good thing.
Reply:Hello there,
Well if your dress is Orange Orange with Silver work on it you should skip anything which is White Gold/Platinum.
Instead you should opt for Yellow Gold Plain byitself or with stomes.
Here are some recomendations I would like to offer you:
Yellow Gold Plain:
San Marco design necklace and earring set
Hugs and kisses/ hugs and love necklace and earring set.
Byzenteen necklace with matching bracelet diamond studs.
In Fine Jewelery I highly recomend you to stick with diamonds but if you wish to add color to it then here we go:
Australian Black Opal pendabt on a gold chain with matching earrings.
Tanzanite preferbly the darker ones AAA (Gem Quality)
Emerald bright green color with very few clouds.
Caribbean Topz in its 4 new colors highly recomend you as it is also very reasonably priced too.
Chalcedony and Turquoise Jewelery.
Good Luck
If there is anything else you would like to know or consult me on jewelery drop me a line at kunalsc@yahoo.com
Reply:Since you say that, the dress has heavy silver work on the blouse,go for a jwellery with more of orange in it as it would provide a mild contrast and highlight your dress. Also try out a bracelet which matches your belt.Avoid ruby. Not just the jwellery but select the other accessories to suit the color scheme of your dress.Hope it works!

Reply:I don't think ruby would go with the orange and silver. It sounds as though the dress makes a statement by itself, so not sure you should wear a lot of jewelry to distract from the dress. How about something glass? If there is heavy silver work on the blouse and belt, what kind of jewelry are you looking for? Earrings? Guess you could go with silver, but you'd have to be sure it didn't clash with and diminish the silver in the dress itself.
Reply:go with silver jewelry it will look best! anything ruby would look funny.

How to make an orange seed grow into a tree?
I saved a seed from a kind of orange , because these oranges are sooo good, i want a tree of my own. what do i have to do before i can plant it? does it have to dry and stuff? under what conditions will it germinate, what season should i plant it. WILL THIS WORK?
i live in the bay area, CA btw so u kno about the seasons and weather and stuff.
please help.
How to make an orange seed grow into a tree?
I hate to burst your bubble, but the vast majority of citrus trees grown from seed take a very long time to produce fruit, at time between 5-10 years, some also require contact with male trees before they will produce. Unless you're willing to pay for professional grafting of the tree with one that has already borne fruit, I would suggest attempting to purchase one which is already potted. There are a number of websites to purchase partially mature or mature citrus trees from.
Reply:SORRY! I dont know!!!!!!!!!!

What causes orange peel in fiberglass parts and how do eliminate it?
I am having orange peel issues in the parts I'm making. I use a 50/50 ratio of calcium carbonite/resin applied with a chop gun. The catalyst ratio is between 1 and 1.5
I've always thought that it is mainly dependent on resin/chop ratio, but am getting it on pretty much every part whether wet or dry.
What causes orange peel in fiberglass parts and how do eliminate it?
Is your mold slick ? What are you using for a release agent ?

How many grams of orange crystals are needed to produce 4.58g of water?
Ammonium dichromate (NH4)2CR2O7 which exist as orange crystals, may be decomposed upon heating according to the following reaction:
(NH4)2Cr2O7 -%26gt; Cr2O3 + N2 + 4H2O
How many grams of orange crystals are needed to produce 4.58g of water?
How many grams of orange crystals are needed to produce 4.58g of water?
exactly 6.3
I learned this along time ago so I didn't need ur reaction formula anyway.
Reply:(NH4)2Cr2O7 -%26gt; Cr2O3 + N2 + 4H2O
First find the molecular mass of (NH4)2Cr2O7 = 2(14) + 8(1) + 2(52) + 7(16) = 252 grams / mole
Next find how many moles of H2O are produced = 4.58 grams / 18 grams mole H2O = 0.254 moles H2O
Notice from the balanced equation that one mole of (NH4)2Cr2O7 produces 4 moles of water. Therefore the moles of (NH4)2Cr2O7 is only one fourth the number of moles of water produced = 0.254 moles / 4 = 0.0636 moles (NH4)2Cr2O7
Now find the mass of (NH4)2Cr2O7 needed:
Mass (NH4)2Cr2O7 = 0.0636 moles X 252 grams / mole = 16.0 grams
Answer = 16.0 grams (NH4)2Cr2O7

Where can I get Orange Automotive Paint?
I have finished my Jeep and looking to repaint it orange. I have painted my last car but it was just basic black and very easy to find. I'm having a real hard time finding Orange Automotive Paint. Any website, phone number, or tips are greatly appreciated.
Where can I get Orange Automotive Paint?
You can get Orange Automotive Paint from http://www.saveonshop.com/shop.php?k=Ora...
Reply:go to a Napa auto parts store in my home town they will mix it for you after you pick the shade
Reply:Depending on where you want to go you can get paint at any automotive store that paintshops use or online. Mainly depends on what actual orange color you want. There are tons of choices. If you want a regular orange, hugger orange, tangerine, pearl orange etc. Best bet is go to a dealership and ask to see a paint chip book or look online at www.houseofkolors.com I think they have a paint chip section but it wont be as nice as one from a dealership, you wonty be able to see the metal flakes etc. Or just type in automotive paints on google. Hope this helps!

Answer = 16.0 grams (NH4)2Cr2O7

Depending on where you want to go you can get paint at any automotive store that paintshops use or online.
Reply:go to a Napa auto parts store in my home town they will mix it for you after you pick the shade

My white clothes are coming out with orange spots on them- what can I do?
There's nothing in the washer that's orange, there's no orange clothes in with them, but all my whites are coming out with orange spots on them! Does anyone know what they are and what I can do to prevent them and take them out?
My white clothes are coming out with orange spots on them- what can I do?
i think thats a indicator of rust in your washer. Do a cycle with no clothes just soap and water. If that doesnt work try filling up the washer with water first then put your soap in then your clothes. Lemme kno gOod luck!
Reply:something is either wrong with your washer or dryer, make sure this is happening with several loads and not just one load....if it only happened in one load then maybe something got mixed in that melted and you didn't realize there was something in there. If it isn't that then something may be wrong with your detergent, contact the company who makes the detergent and tell them what happened. I once had a problem with a detergent removing the color from my clothing and the company that made the detergent sent me a check to reimburse me for the clothes that were ruined, there was a problem with the lot of detergent I purchased and it was recalled and I had no idea until I called them and complained.
Reply:let me see, i think you use a little too much detergent. using too little or too much detergent can cause laundry problems. if the inside of your washing machines, the one that holds ur clothes, and washes them(if it is made out of metal) then that could be the problem. try it and see.
let me know for more ideas At: thedramaofhistory@yahoo.com
Reply:It is probably rust, either built up in your washer or in the water you are using. It will start making all of your whites a little yellow over time and leave the occasional orange spot. To get it out of your washer, try going through a cycle with no clothes. Use hot water and bleach in the cycle.
To get the spots out of your clothes you can use a whitener/brightener like RIT that you find at the local store or you can purchase one of those rust out products. Make sure to follow the directions carefully and check to make sure it is designed for clothing before you buy it. If you see the spot before it goes through the dryer, it will be easier to get out later.
If the problem is in your water, you will want to purchase a bluing product (like Mrs. Stewarts, see link below) to keep your whites really white (all whites tend to yellow with age and the blue helps to counteract that, again make sure you follow the directions carefully or you will get blue spots on your whites).
Reply:As for the orange spots i have no idea as to where they come from or even why they appear but i had a similar problem. I can't say for sure but i think it was because i was using a liquid bleach (for colours). I have since used Napisan powder, soaking my clothes for no more than 2 hours and problem solved.
Reply:Your washer is rusty, in a place you cannot see. Don't use it for white or light colored clothes. See about getting a repairman or buy a new washer.
Reply:rust stains from an old washer?
try bleaching or oxy clean
Reply:wash them would be a good idea.......................................
Reply:soak in a washer of hot water with plenty of clorox and washing powders. It should take it out
Reply:try using CLR, iron-out, or some other cleaner with anti-rust properties to it that you can put in your washer to get the rust out.

Is the orange Neutrogena soap supposed to smell really bad or is there something wrong with my bar?
My wife bought be a bar of the orange, see-through Neutrogena soap and it smells really unpleasant. I can't describe the scent but whenever I wash my face with it, I purposely don't breathe out my nose.
I went and bought a bottle of the liquid kind and it smells much better, kind of like dish washing soap.

What are the climate conditions to grow an orange tree?
I would really like to know the climate conditions and the best
type of place to grow orange trees.
What are the climate conditions to grow an orange tree?
Climate
The orange is subtropical, not tropical. During the growing period, the temperature should range from 55º to 100º F (12.78º-37.78º C). In the winter dormancy, the ideal temperature range is 35º to 50º F (1.67º-10º C). Mature, dormant trees have survived 10 hours at temperatures below 25º F (-3.89º C) but fruit is damaged by freezing–30º to 26º F (-1.11º-3.33º C). Young trees may be killed outright by even brief frosts. Hardiness, however, varies with the cultivar and rootstock, Seedling orange trees of bearing age are capable of enduring more cold than budded cultivars. Prolonged cold is more injurious than short periods of freezing temperatures. In Florida, many efforts have been made to protect orange trees from winter cold, which is most damaging if preceded or accompanied by drought.
In the early days, slatted shadehouses were erected over young groves. Windbreaks have been planted on the northeast exposure. Old automobile tires have been burned in piles throughout groves. A commercially produced heater has been fueled and lit in the coldest predawn hours. Helicopters have been flown back and forth to cause movement of air, and, more recently, wind machines have been installed. Most recent, and most effective are overhead sprinklers which give maximum protection from cold damage.
Favorable annual precipitation varies from 5 to 20 in (12.5-50 cm), though oranges are frequently grown in areas receiving 40 to 60 in (100-150 cm) of rain. Benthall says that in the damp climate of Lower Bengal, the fruits lack juice and are usually very sour. California's generally dry climate contributes to more intense color in the orange peel than is seen in humid areas. Success in orange culture depends a great deal on the selection of cultivars tolerant of the weather conditions where they are to be grown.

Reply:Full sun, well-drained soil, warm temperatures, and a mild winter (citrus trees can have their fruit damaged if the temperature gets below freezing, and the tree dies below 20 F).
Citrus does well in Florida and California because of the warm climate and sandy soil. But, the desert is too dry and harsh, unless the trees are well irrigated and fertilized. The arid desert winds can also damage the foliage.
Reply:same as potatos
Reply:Zone 8 or 9. Citrus also does well in Arizona, so some varieties may be more suited to colder weather. I am in Lousiana and they do well here as well. Can't be too dry and can't be too wet. Well drained soil.

What's the best way to make an orange laundry hamper?
I want to buy one of those tall plastic laundry hampers and paint it orange, because my friend mentioned she wanted one a long time ago. Her birthday is coming up, and I think she'd really like this present. It's also her sixteenth, so yeah.
What I want to know is : what kind of paint should I buy?
paint brushes?
how much paint to buy?
paint that won't peel, etc?
What's the best way to make an orange laundry hamper?
If it is plastic you have to use fusion paint (at almost any store that sells spray paint.) OR you could buy a cool basket hamper and spray it with orange paint.
Reply:You can get spray paint made for plastic. I can would do a hamper. Just make sure you spray outside, and cover the ground/surrounding area.
Could also paint a wood or wicker one the same way.
Reply:if you can find it in orange, buy plastic paint(specially for plastics).its surprisingly durable.one can should be plenty.

How long does it take for zebra finches orange cheeks to show?
I have some baby birds and the four chicks have started to fly and are begining to feed themselves, how long does it usually take for the orange cheeks in the males to show?
How long does it take for zebra finches orange cheeks to show?
Zebra chicks do not hatch with the trademark orange beaks and legs. Most have black beaks and legs. Some of the lighter color varieties have beaks 'horn' colored or a color similar to our fingernails. These colors change to adult colors at about 5-6 weeks of age.
Chick Development Schedule
incubation is 14 days
8 days old put on closed band
21 days old they fledge (leave the nest)
4 weeks old they start to eat on their own
5-6 weeks old the adult colors will start to develop, along with the beak color changing to orange.
5-6 weeks old move the chicks to their own cage. They will disrupt the next clutch process and the parents may start to pluck their feathers.
Zebra finches live to be 4-8 years of age. I have heard of birds living to 10 and 12 years old, but I think this is rare.
Reply:About 2-3 months. The colouring will darken and be easier to determin the gender as they get older

How can i darken a solid orange color on my wall?
I recently painted my living room. 2 walls are green and 2 are orange. my wife thinks the orange wall are to light, she wants me to darken the orange. i want to do it without painting a solid color over it, i want some sort of texture. any ideas.
How can i darken a solid orange color on my wall?
get a transluecent paint that you can roll on with a textured roller.....
the color and value of the paint can be almost anything,,,, red, blue, etc....... medium opaque to almost clear,,,depending on the final color you want.
(you can achieve this by adding an opaque color to a clear coat,,,,, the percentages will vary depending on the color and value that you want.
talk to the people at the paint store where you are going to be purchasing the paint,,,,, they can give you the final color chart/options that you have.
or,,,, get a textured roller (many different ones to choose from)and a darker color and lightly roll a pattern with alot of negative space (the orange you now have)that will still show thru.
Reply:JUST USE A SPONGE AND USE A DARKER SHADE OF ORANGE OVER THE LIGHTER
Reply:Try a glaze over it.

Does orange glo for hardwood floors realy work?
I have hardwood floors that are not in perfect condition, they should be redone, but Im wondering what the orange glow would do for them, if anything.
Does orange glo for hardwood floors realy work?
Orange Glo, please don't it containd D-limonene. Which is a carciginic. If your floors are in bad shape, I would reccomend, having the floors re-done, or look at doing the floors with a Pergo type product.
Orange Glo won't do anything to help your floors, other than put a Toxic chemical on your floor, where the kids and pets walk/play.
D-limonene
Used as a solvent in many all-purpose cleaning products. Especially 'citrus' and 'orange' cleaners, is more commonly listed on labels as citrus oil and or orange oil (such as Orange Glow). This chemical is produced by cold-pressing orange peels. The extracted oil is 90% d-limonene. It is a sensitizer, a neurotoxin, a moderate eye and skin irritant, and can trigger respiratory distress when vapors are inhaled by some sensitive individuals. There is some evidence of carcinogenicity. D-limonene is the active ingredient in some insecticides.
Reply:It works for me.
Reply:i have tried many different orange products. to be hones with you, i felt i wasted my money on all of them. to me, its all hype, poor results.
Reply:I am really interested in this because my hardwood floors have nicks and scratches in them from the previous owner. I bought this product before we moved in to give them a shine, but I never ended up using it (still sitting in my cupboard). I know it won't help the imperfections, but it will probably give them a "shinier" and fresher look.

How do you tone down the orange in my hair?
I recently dyed my hair at a salon, and I hate it. Instead of coming out brown, my base color is close to orange. And my highlights are also an orange color. I want to dye over it but I spent like $150 on my hair! It would be a waste of money. Is there anything I can do at home to tone down that orange color? Something that I can get at Sally's or something? Maybe the color corrector? Please help! Graduation is coming up and I want to look my best!
How do you tone down the orange in my hair?
Yes, there are at-home products that will remove the brassiness from your color or you can use a color-depositing shampoo/condition - Artec makes a really good product that I use to help blend highlights and get me through another week before coloring!
But honestly, I would go back to your stylist and ask her to fix your hair. It's absolutely ridiculous to spend that much money and not be happy with the result.
Exactly why I do my own hair at home. It's much easier to re-color at $7-10 per box!
Good Luck!!
Reply:could go back to the salon and tell them they screwed up or you could get the john Freda hair product (shampoo and conditioner) for brunets that will help tone it down.
Reply:why didn't you complain?Once my hair stylist coloured my hair way to light, so she re did no cost
Reply:When you pay that much for something and your not happy you should call your stylist and ask him/her to fix it. Especially if its not what you asked for, no matter how long she was working on you and your sister. Any reputable stylist would fix it free of charge especially since your hair is orange and i personally dont know to many people that ask for that hair color. Also orange is a very hard color to get out of your hair i would be especially careful about trying to do it yourself. You might do more damage to it than has already been done.
Reply:if you want to color it on your own go to a store that sells professional hair color to the public and get a color with a blue base to neutralize the orange. while youre there try picking up a deep conditioning treatment like joico k pac intense hydrating therapy
Reply:well, if u wash it out really good in every shower u take til graduation, it might tone down and look rele good. also, try wearing colors that make it seem more suttle, u kno? hats help too. maybe buy a product (spray, shampoo and condtioner, etc) to help. BEDHEAD products always work the best its awesome they have products 4 literally every hair type and probelm, i kno!!!
Reply:For now, get some shampoo with bluing agents in them. They are temperary and will tone. You know, the kinds that the elderly use. Just don't go crazy with it.

Weird orange stains on my pillow case and I just can’t figure it out?
I’ve been getting these really odd orange stains on my pillow cases and I just can’t figure it out? My girl’s pillowcase is fine, but mine always seems to get these stains. I never use bleach, so what could it be? Toothpaste remnants from my drool? Face lotions? I can’t figure it out? It’s happened on both brand new sheet sets from Ikea 200 thread count. Please help! I think my girl is freaked a bit and thinks I’m an alien.
Weird orange stains on my pillow case and I just can’t figure it out?

Reply:It's probably your facial cleanser. This happened to my hubby before ...I can't remember what stuff he was using on his face but .....whatever it was he stopped using it and the stains stopped too. (P.S. ...check your towels and washcloths for the stain too !)
Reply:It's drool, some people drool when they sleep deep hopefully your girlfriend won't be to grossed out to knowyou slobber when ur sleeping, It's recomended that you replace your pillow every year or so.
Reply:You may have a sore or a bleeding gum that gets diluted in saliva when you sleep. When your mouth falls open, it will leak out onto the pillow and stain. When it happens again, try removing the fresh stain with a cold wet washcloth. If it comes off, go to the dentist and find out why your gums are bleeding. Good luck.
Reply:My husband noticed the same thing recently. His pillow would have the orange stains as well as the necklines of some T-Shirts. We never figured it out for sure but were convinced it was the product he was using in his hair (like a hair wax kind of thing).
Reply:is it ear wax?
Reply:My husband has the same problem, it's usually the fact that he sweats in his sleep. Are you a smoker, that will make it worse, the pores of your skin will release all that nicotine as you sweat. So, don't freak out...your normal :o)
Reply:It might be sweat.
Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night to find parts of you hair or pillow a little damp?
I frequently find that I the temperature feels comfortable as I fall asleep, but if the room is not particularly cool, I wake up with a wet pillow.
The sweat stains I get on bedding (pillow, pillow case, sheets, mattress pad) I would describe as more of a dark yellow, but I could see someone calling them a shade of orange.
BTW, wife's side of the bed doesn't show these stains either.
Reply:Do you smoke or use tobacco? You can sweat chemicals out of your body during sleep that will leave stains. For instance, if you smoke, the nicotine can actually come out through your sweat at night and stain the sheets. (Have seen it happen, though only with guys.) All people sweat in their sleep, men moreso than others. I would consider what chemicals you might be taking in.
Reply:Are you using one of those self-tanning lotions? If so, that is it. That happened to me with some Jergen's Tanning lotion. I bought it because I looked so pale. My pillowcases got the same way. It washes out okay.
Reply:Could you be getting nosebleeds in your sleep? That might stain orange on a colored pillowcase.
Or, if you drool in your sleep, the dye in the pillowcase might be running. Try prewashing your sheets next time and see if that doesn't do the trick.
Reply:Perhaps youv'e been eating Weird Oranges in bed?But I think the real answer may be something in the fabric of the pillowcases has caused the dye to run.You don't say what color they are? Or of course it could be face powder from your pretty face?
Reply:1] wash face, hair, and brush teeth before bed.
2] check collars of pajamas or sleep shirt
3] do you apply any medication before bed?
4] is it on both sides of the pillow slip, or just one? Irrigate your ears lately?
5] nighttime nose bleeds usually show up red or rusty brown, not orange - and usually leave a trail on your lip or fingers where you wiped it in your sleep
6] eyedrops? something you use with contacts?
Let us know when you figure it out!
Reply:Once I drank a soda before I went to sleep. It was a dark colored cola drink. I drooled %26amp; my pillow had light browny orangy stains. It's probably something you're eating or drinking. That's not uncommon. :)
Reply:could it be your make-up? or maybe a skin bronzer type product??? Boh leave orangish stains.

Are there any recipes for an Orange Julius that just uses regular orange juice, not frozen?
My dad needs a recipe for this, and we only have regular orange juice, not frozen. I looked and looked for a recipe, and just can't seem to find one! Every recipe I've seen calls for "6. oz can FROZEN orange juice." It's not the one I (or my dad) wants!
Are there any recipes for an Orange Julius that just uses regular orange juice, not frozen?
Orange Julius
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water
1 egg white(from a large egg)
3/4 tsp. Vanilla extract
1/4 cup sugar
1 heaping cup ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender set on high for 15-30 sec. Makes 2 drinks
Reply:Well, what they are looking for is the intense flavor that concentrate would give to the mix. It would be hard to duplicate without increasing the amount you make by a lot. You could figure how much to add by comparing it to the amount of water which is added to the concentrate to make orange juice. If the concentrate calls for three cans of water then figure out how much that would be and add that much straight orange juice to your Orange Julius recipe. Hopefully it would wind up tasting the same.
Reply:well i dont know if this helpes but here it goes-
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water
1 cup crushed ice
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup egg substitute
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend for 15-30 seconds.
Serve immediately.
hope i helped and please can i get the ten pionts i need them bad!

What is the difference between a mock orange, and a jasmine bush?
I thought years ago that I had gotten a a few starts off of a mock orange bush, but someone told me they thought what I had is a Jasmine bush. Now, I'm not sure. I looked up a picture of the blossoms and they looked similiar. White delicate flowers. I live in the midwest U.S. and the bushes after all these years are doing fabulous.
What is the difference between a mock orange, and a jasmine bush?
Mock orange is a shrub with thin, flakey to shreddy bark.
Jasmines are generally vines....tho winter jasmine is a wild shrub, LOL. They can be either deciduous or evergreen or evergreen stemmed thru the winter.
Mock orange leaves are simple, that is at the stem where the bud is, there is just one leaf.
Jasmine can be simple but more often are trifoliate, that is 3 little leaflets......or may even be pinnate (like a honey locust) with multiple leaflets...up to 9.
Mock orange flowers have 4 petals and 4 sepals (hmm, how to describe a sepal....??...when a rose is still in bud, the green part that breaks open are the sepals. In some flowers the sepals aren't green, but the same color as the petals)
In jasmine the corolla (all the petals together) are 5 or 6 lobed.
Reply:Jasmine is a vine, so theres one difference. Mock Orange has glossy green leaves %26amp; a larger flower than the jasmine. It smells like an orange blossom, %26amp; the jasmine, which also has a pinkish tinge to the flower, is a highly fragrant plant
Reply:Mock Orange blossoms smell like a orange blossom
Jasmine bush smells like Jasmine flowers
they look similar but yet smell very different
Whatever it is,
enjoy its beauty and fragrance
Reply:The mock orange ( a true one) will be very fragrant with the smell of orange blossoms.
