What kind of emotions should a rich orange invoke in a room?

Like green is relaxing, blue is calming, etc. What about orange? A nice dark (but not too dark) rich orange that's contrasted by white molding.

-basic orange is the color of energy and motion:oranges, carrots,tangerines.


-if you use a muted and rich brownish orange it can have a spicy,warm,earthy and somewhat exotic feel: cinnamon, paprika, turmeric, terra cotta clay.


-if you use a bold reddish orange, it evokes feelings of passion and heat: tomato, chili peppers, persimmons.


-if you use a pastel peachy orange, it evokes feelings of playfulness and sweetness: creamsicles, peaches, cantaloupe flesh.


-if you use a bright yellowish orange, it evokes feelings of cheerfulnes and warmth: black-eyed susans, grapefruit, schoolbus.

A play room, or a family room can work with Orange, but I'd leave it out of the bedrooms and kitchen.
