Can you juice an orange with the peel on?

Just bought a Moulinex JuiceMachine Pro and I'm wondering if you can put a whole orange in without peeling? Thanks!

yes use a syringe iknew someone that removed the juice from a bag of oranges in france injected them with vodka or gin and carried them through customs at dover regularly.

Reply:You can, but I wouldn't recommend it, the pith and the pips will make it taste very bitter.





There's 2 fruits that don't work well in a juicer, one is whole oranges and the other is bananas.

Reply:You can but it will not taste very nice, used to have a juicer and tried that one myself, it makes thick quite sour juice.
Reply:The skins are oily and bitter so it would be better to peel the outer layer and leave some white pulp which has bioflavenoids in it
