What large dark orange red sunflowers with purple leaves called?
I've seen them sold at grocery store before, but I can't find anything online about them.
What is the name for dark red/orange sunflowers with purple leaves?
Tithonia is a bright orange sunflower (Mexican Sunflower), but so far as I know it doesn't have a cultivar with purple leaves.
Here's a place with some sunflower cultivars listed. Perhaps one of them is what you're looking for?
http://hort.ifas.ufl.edu/floriculture/sp...
Here's the Burpee catalog listing of some of their sunflowers as well (it's about 3 pages)

What kinds of breeds are there for orange cats?
Were thinking of buying another cat and I want to find out what kind of orange breed cats are there. If you know a couple let me know!
What kinds of breeds are there for orange cats?
Many pedigreed breeds, long haired and short haired, plus non-pedigreed pets can be "orange". If you search for red cats (or cream if you prefer dilute colours) online you will find photos of many breeds. www.tica.org is a good site to learn more about pedigreed cats. Off the top of my head:
Devon Rex
Cornish Rex
Japanese Bobtail
Munchkin
Scottish Fold
Selkirk Rex
Sphynx
Turkish Van
Persian
Exotic Shorthair
American Shorthair
Maine Coon
Oriental
http://www.tica.org/html/english/cats/br...
Do consider adopting a rescue, whether it be pedigreed or a beautiful household pet cat.
Have fun!

Reply:There are no breeds that are specifically prange, but most breeds have a allowed coloration where they allow for orange.
Reply:You should know that most orange cats are male (genetically) just as most tortoiseshell cats are female. Keep this in mind when adopting your new pal -- you'll want to consider whether your current friend will want the new friend to be a boy or a girl.
Reply:Every time you "buy" any animal, it means no home for one kitten born in some litter today, one stray you didn't adopt.
Go to a shelter and ask for an orange cat, or better still adopt any cat and then grow to appreciate that color... They are all beautiful.
Reply:Orange Tabby cats are adorable, and extremely affectionate.

Why are some egg yolks Bright orange while others are pale yellow?
The best and richest eggs have a nice orange color yolk...why are most of the eggs I buy (95%) usually the pale yellow%26gt;?
Why are some egg yolks Bright orange while others are pale yellow?
the freer the chicken so to speak (from caged to free range) the more orange they tend to be. Also there is a school of thought that the reason the more orange an egg is shows how little stress the chicken was under therefore providing a relaxed egg which is tastier.
Reply:Colour in egg yolks to a degree is influenced by what the hens are fed on. Hens fed a high maize diet will produce a more yellow coloured yolk.
It also varies per breed.
Free range yolks are most often orange as they are not fed so intense a diet as caged or barn raised layers.
Reply:They feed some chickens Marigold flowers to make them lay eggs that are more yellow. Same deal with chickens that have yellow skin.
Reply:That has everything to do with what the chickens are fed on
Reply:probaby diff eggs from diff chickens.
Reply:Free range chickens (meaning ones the can get out and scratch and peck away at what they want to eat) are the ones that have the orange yolks. The pale yolks are from the confined chickens that are kept in a building or very small fenced in area. These housed chickens are feed grains that we humans think that they should have.
Reply:That depends on what the chickens were fed.
My grandparents have a farm in Spain and they have chickens. The eggs are super yellow, like they are supposed to be, because they are fed good food. The pale yellow ones show that the chickens weren't fed good.
Reply:the way they were fed
Reply:Try getting some farm fresh eggs. They cost a little more but are so much better
Reply:it depends on how old de egg is, how the chick was fed n where it lived

Can I put almond powder in orange chiffon cake? Will it taste funny? I want to get rid of the raw eggs taste?
even though I put orange juice and peel, the smell is still there. I don't want to use vanilla essence.
Can I put almond powder in orange chiffon cake? Will it taste funny? I want to get rid of the raw eggs taste?
Why would there be a raw egg taste? It should be gone once the cake is baked.
Reply:I think Almond powder would be too potent. I would try a little Agave Nectar sweetner. It is healthier than sugar or honey and tastes very sweet.

What is the difference between orange peel and orange zest? Are they the same thing?
I have orange peel, but the recipe calls for orange zest.
What is the difference between orange peel and orange zest? Are they the same thing?
Zest is just grated peel.
Reply:You use your grater to scrape the orange peel to make orange zest.
Reply:The only difference I can see is the way they are gotten off of the orange. Orange peel, you can just cut w/ a knife. But you woudlnt' want to add a huge hunk of that to a baked good. Zest is orange peel that is grated off w/ a fine grater or microplane. OR, if you need lots, cut the orange peel off, put in a food processor, add a bit of sugar, and blend. Voila, orange zest.
Reply:same thing
EDIT
I should say though that zest is just the orange part. A peel usually has the white pith ( very bitter )
Reply:Zest is the outer part of the skin grated
Reply:I think they are the same thing.....
Reply:Zest is made from orange peels sans the pith which is the white part....the zest is removed by a zester which is a very fine grater...
Reply:When you peel an orange, what you get are pieces that are orange on one side and white on the other. The orange bit is the zest. It's the bit with the orange-smelling oil in it. The white is not full of flavour and can be tough and bitter so, when a recipe asks for the 'zest', just scrape the outside of the orange with a knife or grater, so you get some of the orange stuff but none of the white.
Reply:The peel is the entire skin around the orange itself. The zest is just the orange very outer layer and is thin. You don't want any pith (the white) in zest. There are zesters you can buy which scrape a very thin layer off a lemon or orange. You can use a microplain to this as well. The zest contains the essential oils and essence of the fruit which is why it's used for flavoring.

How can I tell when my orange tree is about to bloom?
I have a dwarf Washington Navel orange tree and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or could best describe what the bloom process would look like, such as were the bloosoms would come from. Thank you in advance!

You will begin to see small buds, next flowers.

How do I know if my orange neon tetras are breeding?
I have a school of 4 blue and red neon tetras and 3 orange neon tetras. I have two neon tetras that keep swimming side by side, then they'll swim a in a little circle around each other, and finally go to a T position just for a moment. This is very odd behavior for my fish I have never seen them do this before! I noticed them doing this about 30 minutes ago I'm not really sure how longs its been going on. I have never seen any of my other tetras doing this with each other and its the same two that keep doing this weird little dance. Are they getting ready to breed or is this just the fish version of the river dance put on for my entertainment? Thanks for the help!
How do I know if my orange neon tetras are breeding?
That doesn't sound like typical spawning behavior really. Normally they dart side by side through plants or just over the gravel and lay eggs, as yours are starting out doing.
It's quite possible what you are seeing is the fish spawn and then returning to eat the eggs. That is very common as the are avid egg eaters.

What's the difference between an orange, tangarine, and clemintine?
besides the size and tree what's the difference between an orange, clementine, and tangarine?
What's the difference between an orange, tangarine, and clemintine?
"An orange—specifically, the sweet orange—is the citrus tree Citrus sinensis (syn. Citrus aurantium L. var. dulcis L., or Citrus aurantium Risso) and its fruit. The orange is a hybrid of ancient cultivated origin, possibly between pomelo (Citrus maxima) and tangerine (Citrus reticulata). It is a small flowering tree growing to about 10 m tall with evergreen leaves, which are arranged alternately, of ovate shape with crenulate margins and 4–10 cm long. The orange fruit is a hesperidium, a type of berry."
"The tangerine (Citrus reticulata) is an orange or red colored citrus fruit. Tangerines are smaller than most oranges, and the skin of some varieties peels off more easily. The taste is often less sour, or tart, than that of an orange."
"A Clementine is the fruit of a variety of mandarin (Citrus reticulata), named in 1902. This fruit is a variably formed citrus ranging from slightly oblate through globose to oblong and sometimes broadly pyriform from development of neck or collar, as well as variably sized, ranging from medium-small to medium. The rind is of medium thickness; moderately firm, but easily peelable and does not puff until well after maturity. Smooth and glossy surface of colour deep orange to reddish-orange. The flesh colour is deep orange described as tender and melting with a sweet flavour. Typically there are 8 to 12 juicy segments.[1]"
Reply:Orange: Round thick skinned juicy edible fruit that is a reddish-yellow color when ripe.
Clementines: the clementine is a seedless mandarin. Clementines are generally easier to peel than oranges
Tangerines: a tangerine is an orange-red mandarin with a particular citrus taste. Tangerines are smaller than most oranges,

Does anyone know how to remove orange stains from plastic jugs?
I have some bowls and measuring jugs that I've used tumeric and carrot etc in and now are yucky and orange.... Help!
Does anyone know how to remove orange stains from plastic jugs?
Your best bet is to soak them in bleach.
Reply:After you use bleach to get the stain out, they will smell of bleach. Just put some salt in warm water and let them sit for an hour.
Reply:soak them in bleach water
fill the bowls with water and add some bleach to the water then let set for a while.
Reply:sorry but they dont come out. we have them and have alot of beans and noodles etc in them and they get a rim of orange around it. it is to do with the microwave and what u are puttin in them. what to do is have two or three and save one of them for things that are orange and save the other two for anything that wont stain. also wash them as soon as possible after using
Reply:Chances are the stains won't come out. Next time you are going to store any type of staining food in a plastic container such as carrot, tumeric, or tomatoes, try this trick- before you put the food in, spray the container and the inside of the container's lid with Pam or any other cooking spray. It really works!
Also, if you can find them in your supermarket, Rubbermaid makes a line of non-disposable storage containers that are stain proof. They work really well, and are worth investing in a few pieces.

Did the fruit orange come first or did the colour orange come first?
Are oranges called oranges because they are orange. Or is the colour orange called orange because or the fruit?
Did the fruit orange come first or did the colour orange come first?
the color is called orange after the fruit.
etymologically speaking, the word "orange" comes
from Sanskrit "narangah". the word orange (in its
earlier, old english form "orenge") first appears in
recorded history in the late 14th century (1380).
describing an object's color using the word orange
didn't happen until 1542.

Pink grapefruit has more Vitamin A than orange, that's about it.

Why do the leaves on my orange tree curl?
I live in Manteca, CA (heart of cali, and center of Calif. Farming Dist.) I just bought a brand new home in Dec. I planted some fruit trees about 1 month ago. The other trees are doing fine (Cherry, Plum, Apple) My orange tree was fine until i transplanted from the pot to the soil. I have used good fertilizer and followed all directions. The leaves are curling, but still green. The fruit are not producing anymore, although, in the past 3 days, i have seen regrowth of flowers. I can't see why the leaves are curling though. The tree looks "depressed" what can i do?
Why do the leaves on my orange tree curl?
Usually during a transplant the tree goes through a shock and will temporarily loose leaves or even look a bit sick. They will probably not produce fruit for the season in which it was transplanted. (It is said that fruit should be removed the first year of planting, so as not to drag nourishment from the tree in this critical time)
use a good fertilizer and make sure it is staying watered. I mulched around my fruit trees to hold in the moisture, but be careful not to overwater or overfertilize, that could also be the cause of yellowing leaves. Being directly in the harsh sun all day could have that effect too.
Reply:too much fertilizer?

What is the best place in Orange County to buy home appliances?
Looking for a new washer and dryer. What is the best place for price, delivery, financing, etc., in Orange County, CA? Sears, Best Buy, Home Depot?
What is the best place in Orange County to buy home appliances?
Costco is the cheapest, though it may not have all the brands. Sears have many brands to choose from, though not the cheapest. Try also Home Depot. Everywhere you go they'll try to get you to pay extra to sign up for extended warranty. Always decline that, because if it works during the normal warranty period, it will work much longer. Besides extended warranty is covered by the local shop, not the brand.

What are the names of small orange, red or pink gouramis?
My neighbor has what I beleive to be some sort of awarf Gourami, but she doesn't think so because she says that the only kinds of dwarfies she's heard of/had were always blue. He's about 2.5 inches long to 3 inches and is about a year old. I can't see the specific color because she lets the algae grow on her aquarium for her shrimps and Pleco, nut it looks to be orange, red or pink. I am not super familiar with gouramis, but I do know they have kind of a pointy oval body shape and little feelers on the bottom and stripes. What kind of Gourami could it be?
What are the names of small orange, red or pink gouramis?
Here's a link with photos and descriptions of some gouramis and dwarf gouramis:
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/scate...
Dwarf gouramis generally stay about 2 inches, and regular gouramis(aside from giant and kissing gouramis) about 4-6 inches.
Sounds like it might be a paradise fish what you're describing.
Reply:dwarf gouramis - colisa lalia - have orange and blue stripes in the wild.
solid blue or red dwarf gouramis are special breeds.

What type of insect lays an orange colored egg on milkweed?
I have read that monarchs lay white eggs. These milkweed plants are covered in orange colored eggs. Is that a parasite to monarch caterpillars?
What type of insect lays an orange colored egg on milkweed?
It is more likely the milkweed bug, Oncopeltus fasciatus. There are a few other insects that specialize on milkweed,
but this one seems most probably.

Is it possible to grow an orange or cherry tree from fruits u got from store?
Has anyone ever tried to grow an orange/tangerine or cherry tree from the seed you got from fruits you bought from the grocery store? If so, how long would you have to let the seeds 'dry out' for before planting them in soil?
Is it possible to grow an orange or cherry tree from fruits u got from store?
You can grow plants from the seeds you get in fruit from the store. However, a lot of fruit seeds have fairly specific requirements that need to be met before they will germinate. For instance cherries pits have to be 'overwintered' or put in the refrigerator or freezer for several months and then warmed up and kept well watered before they will germinate. In many cases, however, the resulting fruit tree may not produce fruit that is as sweet or as desirable as the fruit it came from.
Reply:if they are fresh from the produce section NOT IN CANS!! then the seeds should be good. maybe find some directions on the internet to help grow them. my brother took seeds from a fresh lemon and he's now got a nice looking but still small tree. Miracle Potting Mix works great when planting new plants.
Reply:Citris seeds need to be planted while still fresh, moist, out of the fruit. Do not dry them.
Cherry seeds can be dried, and may need to be scarrified, or stratified.
The thing is the fruit you get may be anything, and not so yummy. No telling. And it will take a few years before they start to bare.
Reply:I've grown papaya with the fruits i got at the store. (bad idea though cuase papaya is no good in dry area.) I am pretty sure other fruits will work too!
Reply:yes. they are very easy. give only one month. mine is 7 inches tall and not even a year old.
this is an orange tree
i didnt even dry them out i just put them in the soil
Reply:Cherries worked well. Found out the hard way with citrus. Alot of table quality citrus grows on trees that were grafted, the good fruit you get in the store doesnt produce a really strong/healthy base tree. So they graft it on to a sour orange stock tree and it produces some nice fruit. I have grown lemons from supermarket fruit and they did real well.
Reply:You may have to keep them moist in peat moss outside in the cold all winter so they will germinate in the spring.
Reply:ya it's possible but the the only thing is that .. drop seeds in to soil before they got dry ..
and ya .. before droping seeds .. drop some water on soil too .. and daily in morning timings give water to soil .. and put that pot or anything in which you seeding in open air .. so that it can have sun light ..

How do you protect a small orange tree for the winter time?
I live in North Alabama and have managed to keep this little tree alive for 6 months, It is a navel orange tree brought from florida. It has a large root system, and is about 40cm above the ground. The leaves are pretty and green, and there are no brown spots or wilting.
How do you protect a small orange tree for the winter time?
Burlap loosely around the tree until all chance of frost has past. Extra mulch at it's feet will help too.
Reply:Bohol, in the protection of the Supreme Tjavi not from water

How do you color white frosting orange?
Like how many drops of red food coloring to yellow food coloring? I want a bright orange, like a pumpkin. Thanks!
How do you color white frosting orange?
Try 2 yellow and 1 red, that should work, if it still isnt bright enough, add more red until you get your desired color.
Reply:I would use a natural color agent like OJ or Pumpki pie filling simmered with a cup of milk and a cup of sugar. Both when mixed with frosting should give you an orange color. If you need it brighter try a scoop of tang or orange Koolaid.
I find it interesting that two people have given me thumbs down. I cook for a living. I have used all of these ideas and had excelent success. It is ok to be different you know.

You may need to add a bit of orange extract to boost the orange flavor, but sherbet, milk and yogurt should do it, you may need to add a bit of powdered sugar but go for it!! The good thing is that you won't be adding the ice cubes so it should come out very creamy.
Reply:thanks to you all! I had to add more sherbet to make it taste " orangey". Thanks! I'll just stick to the recipes I found... with orange juice concentrate! Report It
Reply:absolutely. one of the best things about cooking is variation. You can try substituting anything for anything, as long as your recipe ends up tasting good.
Reply:yep it will be so yummy!
Reply:The sherbert is not as concentrated as the OJ so you'll need to add more or it will tast weak.
Reply:Sure ... use the sherbet. You may not need ice then, since the sherbet is frozen, and the milk will be cold. DON'T use raw eggs! Besides being disgusting tasting, you can get very sick from eating raw eggs......
Reply:I would just mix sherbet, milk and a little yogurt together. It would be great! The sherbet will keep it cold enough so no ice is needed.

What does the orange in Orange Revolution represent?
I know the story behind the revolution. I just don't know where the orange comes in.
What does the orange in Orange Revolution represent?
It was the color chosen by Viktor Yushchenko for his electoral campaign and later came to be adopted as the protestor's color.
from Wikipedia:
"Orange was originally adopted by the Yushchenko's camp as the signifying color of his election campaign. Later the color gave name to an entire series of political terms, such as the Oranges (Pomaranchevi in Ukrainian) for his political camp and supporters. At the time when the mass protests grew, and especially when they brought about political change in the country, the term Orange Revolution came to represent the entire series of events."

Why are there orange bubbles in my Betta tank?
There are orange bubbles in my single male Betta tank, also this orange stuff along the wall of the tank above the water.
What is it? Is it something I should be alarmed about?
Why are there orange bubbles in my Betta tank?
Might you have an apple snail? These lay their eggs above the waterline and are often colored.

How do I press the orange fret button on Guitar Hero?
Does anyone know of a comfortable position to hold the Orange Button on GH? It hurts to try and use my pinky for the blue and orange fret, while holding my ring on yellow, middle on red, and index on blue. I also get confused when I try and just move my hand along the handle to hit the orange button, and end up missing a lot of notes. Any tips?
How do I press the orange fret button on Guitar Hero?
the best way is to hold your fingers on the first four frets, then move it down when the orange comes up. I know you find this difficult, so try practising it. A good song for this is schools out
Reply:Keep your fingers on the red, yellow, blue and orange frets. It is much easier getting your index finger to the green fret than it is getting your pinky to the orange fret. Its the same as the "normal" fingering but you move your hand a fret down.
Reply:What i do that works for me is have your little finger on the orange the whole time and no fingers on the green so when you need to hit green move your hand up one button its an easier finger transition and it works well

Anyone get these orange "finger like" smelly things in their grass? What is it and how do I kill it?
We have these orange things growning in some of our grass. Just in time for halloween, but they SMELL...they look like orange fingers poking out of the ground with a dark tip (green/black). We can't seem to kill them even with grass/weed killer . I just dug them up and put some sevin dust in the hole, but what is it some type of fungus?
Anyone get these orange "finger like" smelly things in their grass? What is it and how do I kill it?
Yes, it is a common lawn fungus called a stinkhorn. There is a section on it near the bottom of the page at the link.

Orange. What's up with that!? Why don't we call banannas, yellows?
Orange...?

Reply:Because bananas are the same color as lemons. We would confuse them. =)
Reply:I think the color's name comes from the fruit's, not vice versa. If we wanted to, we could call the color yellow the color banana or the color lemon. Like, the sun shines banana light.
Ever heard someone say something was the color plum, or violet? Same story.

What is the most efficient way to peel an orange?
I just ate an orange, and I really had to struggle to peel it by hand, which kindof deminished the experience for me lol. Is there some sort of style that works the best for peeling an orange?
What is the most efficient way to peel an orange?
i peel them in one long spiraling piece starting at the top...lol
it takes a while but its fun, and that way i only have to stop at the garbage after and not stand over it
Reply:i like to cut it in half, grab one of the halves in a hand, a spoon in the other..and dig in! :) it works out great! %26amp;my hands don't smell like oranges when i'm done :D) xoxoxox♥
Reply:I get a knife of fork and start from the top. This is kinda personal but i bite my nails so i dont have long nails. if u have long nails that can work too. anyway, i start w/ the fork and peel a little piece to start, than i do the rest w/ my nails.
Reply:Use the tip of a sharp knife to score the rind completely around the orange running in the same direction as the segments. Repeat this at right angles from the 1st score. Lop the top and bottom off and run the knife tip under the skin at the top and bottom. The 4 peel segments can now be easily removed
Reply:I cut mine in quarters and then grab one end and sort of slide my thumb under the peel to speerate the wedge from the peel.
Mmm I love oranges!

How to get rid of orange stains from fake tan?
I recently used a slow fake tan. One that takes a while to build up. But one time i forgot to wash my hands and they are abit orange. I also accidently put some on the bottom of my feet, as it is a moisturising fake tan (Holiday Skin Body Moisturiser). I was just wondering if someone could possibly tell me how to get rid of the orangeness. Many thanks.
How to get rid of orange stains from fake tan?
Hi there,
They actually make products designed specifically for removing the orange. The best one that I know of is St. Tropez Self-Tan Remover. It's not too expensive and probably a good thing to have on hand if you do sunless tanning - you never know when you might need it! I think that I've also seen knock-offs of it in drug stores, so you can find something that says "self-tan remover" and that should do the trick.
I'd be careful with putting acetone or any other harsh chemical on your hands. Those are designed for nails - not skin, and can potentially harm or dry out your hands.
Reply:cut a lemon in half and rub it on the spot..
Reply:Go to a pharmacy, where the sell it like walgreens* and they should have a remedy there.
Reply:put some peeling on ur hands and rub it in well and u can use little brush also...i once used lemon juice and i worked very well too...but i'd recommend that peeling...(best for this would be with crushed apricot stone)
Reply:if it really is bothering you alot, i would go to a store like walmart, and buy a 100% pure acetone nail polish remover. apply it with a cotton ball to the areas on your hand that are orange. it shoudl work, it's worked in the past for me.
if that doesn't work, i would try noxema pads, that you wipe your face with.
good luck! :]
Reply:You can use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but the company doesn't recommend it. It works, though.
Reply:You can either stop useing it or get out in the sun to try and even it out

Do all of the colleges in Orange County start on the same day? Which was yesterday?

Orange.......?
I have an angel tattoo and for some reason he did the halo orange. Can that be colored back in with yellow or will that not work? Thanks!
Orange.......?
Yes, you can get it colored black..as for yellow...they can try to add more white to it to make it yellow, but it may or may not work...and like others have said, it could have turned out orange because of your skin tone...
...your best bet is to talk to the artist about it...ask what they can do...and most of the time, if you go back to the same person, they wont charge to fix it...(if they do fix it for free...it's good to give them a little tip...)
Hope it helps...Good luck!!!

Where are some animal shelters in Orange County where a 12 year old can volunteer?
I love animals like dogs and cats and have been asking many different animal shelters in Orange County, California if I can volunteer there if I am accompanied by a parent. Do you know any animal shelters that will allow a 12 year old to volunteer there? Thank You!
Where are some animal shelters in Orange County where a 12 year old can volunteer?
The people at Orange County animal shelters, Humane Society, ASPCA, dog rescue associations and other animal-focused groups are going to have more information than people on Yahoo Answers, so give each a call yourself. You can find them in the Yellow pages and via Google searches.
Reply:Pretty much no place in the country will let people under 18 volunteer unless it's part of a group activity like scouts, or a church group or something. It's mainly a liability issue; honestly speaking, most people your age aren't all that mature, even though you probably are (since you've been so dedicated at looking in the first place) and the agencies are afraid you'd get hurt and they'd get sued. Maybe you can get a group of others together to do a project at an animal shelter. Another thing to try, maybe a veterinarian's office? You can talk to the vet one on one, and ask if you could do like an internship, or something. There might even be someone at your school who can help you find a place, since agencies are more likely to accept you if you come through a school or other organization like a church or scouts.

What NON-orange colored bath accessories should I get if a bathroom wall is a soft, faded pastel orange color?
I need to make it match. I'm not a fan of the orange.
And I can't repaint the wall.
What NON-orange colored bath accessories should I get if a bathroom wall is a soft, faded pastel orange color?
1. Very retro - avocado green.
2. Feminine - Tonal shades of pink
3. Outdoorsy - Leaf greens and yellows
4. Muted - shades of beige, mocha and butterscotch.
You may not be able to paint, but add a focal point in the colors you choose to draw the eye away from the orange. Perhaps a picture with the new colors.
Follow through with a bath rug and towels in your new color scheme.
Reply:Oh dear, I'm afraid your choices are pink in the same faded pastel, turquoise, or the dreaded avocado green.
Here's a rental trick you can try though - Wallpaper!
If you can find it, get some wallpaper you like with the type of backing that you have to apply glue to (not the kind that you just wet) and tack it to the wall (not glue) with upholstery tacks. (Or whatever is handy.) When you move out, you just have little pin holes to fill and touch up. And, as most bathrooms in rentals are small, this project should take about an hour, shopping included.
Reply:Blue would look awesome - light, dark or anything in between - depending on the size of the room and how much natural light you have. My personal opinion is if you put brown or green it would remind you too much of a pumpkin. Come to think of it some purples look excellent with orange too!!!
Good luck!
Reply:I think these towels in cinnamon, butter, thyme, taupe, sky, honey, loden, flax or mocha would look good:

And this shower curatin in platinum, seashell, green apple or nectar:

Reply:Chocolate brown works well with orange.
Reply:I'd use a soft shade of yellow to offset the orange.
Reply:I'd use soft yellows and greens. Anything too bright wouldn't blend well, in my opinion.
Reply:Turquoise should look nice.
Other choices are brown, cream, white and maybe sage green.
Reply:I think brown would look good.
Reply:White.
Reply:how about yellow or hot pink to make it pop.
Reply:browns golds warm autumn colors

I just got a water softener and want to remove the orange left behind.

Dishwashers
Washing machines
Shower heads
Reply:You certainly do not want to use any chemicals that could harm you inside your dishwasher. I swear by the old, trusted favorites.
I would scrub both of them with Ajax scouring powder. Then I would run an empty load in each machine of hot water and Clorox bleach.
Do you know how to use Ajax? Most people don't unless you're old, like me. Get a rag soaking wet, sprinkle the powder on where you are going to scrub and start scrubbing until the orange is gone. Then about 2-3 cups of Clorox in the hot water run.
Reply:you can use cloros clean-up always does the trick.
Reply:Put Tang (That powdery orange drink the astronauts use) in the
soap dispenser and run a full cycle without any dishes (without clothes). All that stuff comes off.
Reply:Run them empty with bleach in them.
Reply:Iron out, you can buy it anywhere. It comes in powder form, you throw a cup full into the Dishwasher and run it on a normal cycle and it comes out looking new. The same for the washer, it is even safe for laundry use. I have well water that leaves the orange and I use it once a month to keep the appliances looking new. If you have it realy bad you might have to run the dishwasher twice with the solution but it does work. IRON OUT

How do i stop my hair from turning orange when i dye it lighter?
I have dark brown hair. I got some highlights done a long time ago and i wanted to have light brown highlights, but i got orange looking highlights instead. This time i want to dye my own hair, and i want to know...How do i stop my hair from turning orange when i dye it lighter?
How do i stop my hair from turning orange when i dye it lighter?
The best way to do this is to choose a 'cool' shade of dye to use. A lot to blonde shades that are cool will be labelled as 'ash' and won't have the same qualities of 'warmer' dyes that will have a more orangish/reddish hue.
Hope that helps!
