What color compliments an orange dress the best?

I have a short orange dress that I want to wear to prom. I wanted to know any color that will look good with the dress. Since my dress is short, it will bring extra attention to my shoes. What color shoes and acessories will look good with the dress? Please, I need some advice!!!

Black would look like you're dressing for Halloween. I would go for brown or even teal.
Reply:neutral shoes would be best, tan colored. torquoise (sp?) blue accessories look really pretty with orange. not the actual stone necessarily, but that color.
Reply:Well, that's a tough one. They say black goes with anything but orange and black is a bit halloween. I would go with White or cream. Tie in a white hair accessory or a pearl necklace. Not too much, less is more.

Reply:Blue actually...opposite colors compliment each other. If you added minor blue accessories and blue shoes, your orange dress would really pop!

Make sure you wear heels and get your toes painted very nice (dark red polish, or a red brown polish)





Definately don't wear black - it will pull attention away from the dress. Orange is a great colour choice!

Reply:My girlfriend had this same problem as she wore an orange dress to senior prom last year and she wore silver shoes, and I matched with an orange/silver tie, orange shirt, and silver vest.
Reply:Wear mirrored shoes, a lot of guys will hang around you, and no underwear.
Reply:i think you should get purple and gold accessories to go with it. white and black are too common and being colorful is in fashion, so vibrant colors would do the trick. try finding some purple pumps purple and gold bracelets, with of course a gold or purple necklace.. purple and orange go cute together
